Costumes of the World, late 19th century
From a vintage book found in an antique dealer's shop, a late 19th century publication: "Rivista dei principali costumi dei popoli che fanno uso del Fernet-Branca, compilata per cura dei F.lli Branca di Milano". The original drawings seem to have been colored by hand in the publication, with watercolors; on the page to the left there is a map of the country whose costume is represented on the page to the right. From the boundaries of Austria, France and Germany the publication can be dated between 1870 and 1914.
