Costume of Cape Colony

This South African costume is taken from a collection of drawings of late 19th century.

The Cape Colony was a part of South Africa during the administration first of the Dutch and then the British, it was named after the Cape of Good Hope, where the first Dutch settlement, Cape Town today, was established.
