Costume of Belgian Congo

This Congolese costume is taken from a collection of drawings of late 19th century.

Today it corresponds to the Democratic Republic of Congo, also known as the Belgian Congo, Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Leopoldville, formerly Zaire.
