Costume of South-West Africa

This South-western African costume is taken from a collection of drawings of late 19th century.

The area was the first German colony (with the name of German South-West Africa) and then (with the name of the South-West Africa) controlled by South Africa; since 1990 it is the independent state of Namibia.
