Interior of St. John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta, Island of Malta
Description - St. John's Co-Cathedral, built by the Knights of Malta between 1573 and 1578, was designed by the Gerolamo Cassar. The inside is in Baroque style, and was largely decorated by Calabrian artist Mattia Preti, who painted the ceiling and side altars with scenes from the life of St John.
