Bighi Hospital, Malta

Description Bighi Hospital is situated on the promontory between Rinella Bay and Kalkara Creek. It takes its name from Fra' Giovanni Bichi, a nephew of Pope Alexander VII, who built a villa on the place. Lord Nelson suggested tu turn the villa into a hospital for the Royal Navy.
