Postcards of Zadar

Zara in Italian, is a city in northern Dalmatia opposite the islands of Ugljan and Pasman, with a large harbour. Between 1918 and 1943 it was occupied by Italy and for a time was an Italian province. During the Yugoslavian wars of the 1990's it was repeatedly bombed.
