Postcards of Porec

A historical harbour for over 2000 years, called Parenzo in Italian, the town is located on the western coast of Istria and is protected by the island of Sveti Nikola (Saint Nicholas); it enjoys a 37km-long coastline from the Mirna river at Novigrad-Cittanova to Funtana-Fontana in the south. From 1919 to 1947 the town was part of Italy. Today it is one of the main tourist resorts in Croatia.
