Taihu Lake, Jiangsu, China
Description - Also called Lake Tai, this is the third largest freshwater lake in China with an area of 2250 sq km, an average depth of 2 m, and about 90 islets. It is situated in the Yangtze Delta plain, and borders the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The photo shows a numer of "junk" boats sailing, and in the foreground a wonderful tree blossom, a spring scenery that can be seen near Wuxi.
