Puningsi, Bishushanzhuang Park, China
Description - Also called Temple of General Peace, belongs to the Eight Outer Temples (called outer because they were outside the Great Wall) and hosts the wooden statue of a Buddha of one thousand hands and eyes; it was reserved in the past to the worship of the Mongolian ethnic group. The Park is situated near Chengde, one of the 10 historical cities of China, 250 km north of Beijing.
