Supreme Harmony Gate, Forbidden City, Beijing, China

Description - Night view of the second major gate at the southern side of the Forbidden City, built during the Ming Dynasty. On the north side of the gate is Harmony Square and the entrance to the Hall of Supreme Harmony. The central stairway was reserved to the Emperor. All around are small columns bearing incense burners.
