Luna Island Bridge, Niagara Falls, NY

Description - This famous romantic bridge leads to the US Luna Island located along the north side of Goat Island at the edge of the Niagara Gorge, separating the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. In 1954, Luna Island was closed to the public because of the instability of the bedrock and reopened in 1972. From the bridge it is possible to enjoy a superb view of the river below the Falls, the inclined railway and bridges.
